Bought a carseat at a yardsale?

it seems to be in real good condition but should i get a new one just because?

There should be a year on the carseat. Look all over it. If it is expired I would toss it because plastic does expire and get soft, even if we can feel it or not. If it isn’t expired then look online for any recalls and if not then it’s fine
