Cleaning the Britax Husky?
How do you clean the blue cover for the Britax Husky car seat? I am a nanny and was given the carseat to use, but it’s filthy from sitting in a garage. They can’t find the instruction booklet and I don’t want to throw it in the wash and ruin it, but I can’t find the info on Britax’s website. Any suggestions? Anyone wash it? Thanks!
They say not to machine wash the covers, but I’ve always washed mine on the gental cycle, hang up to dry, DO NOT put it in the dryer as it might cause the cover to shrink…. DO NOT submerge the straps in water, it will make the straps weak so they won’t hold up in a crash, just spot clean the straps…do you by any chance know the exparation date on the seat? you want to make sure its still safe…it should be under the cover on the right hand side if you are looking at it…
